Grapple Whip

Made for the IPS 3rd Game Jam with the theme "One Weapon, Many Purposes."

You have been trapped in a treacherous cave, teeming with perilous obstacles and dangerous monsters. It seems as though all hope is lost...

But worry not! Armed with the legendary Grapple Whip™ inherited from your wise Grandpappy, you embark on this underground adventure, determined to find an escape.

"Grapple and whip their ass." - your wise Grandpa probably :/

Controls:

ESC to Pause

A and D to Move

Space to Jump

LMB to Attack

Hold LMB to Grapple

Let go of LMB to Un-Grapple (or Jump to receive a small boost.)

Extras:

All art (except fonts), music, and sound effects are created by yours truly, Froz. ^-^

This game has a speed-run timer from the first checkpoint to the last.
